Alvina Kwong was born in Hawaii and spent her early childhood there until her family moved to Southern California. She loves dogs and horses, going to the beach, eating yummy food (especially ice cream!), and doing anything art related. She has loved drawing and painting since she could hold a pencil. The minute she started to draw her first unicorn, she knew that the pencil was a magical wand and the ticket to her imagination. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Illustration, and currently lives in Los Angeles with her family.
