Caroline O’Neal is a “citizen of the world”. She was born in Germany from a Greek mother and an Australian father of Irish and Scottish origins. She grew up in Geneva (Switzerland), lived in Santiago-de-Compostella (Spain) and Copenhagen (Denmark), and now resides in Neu-Ulm (Germany) since 2012. A self-taught painter and illustrator, Caroline has been fascinated since childhood by legends, mythology, fantasy characters, fairy tales, fauna and flora.... And has a great admiration for artists from the Pre-Raphaelite, Symbolist or Art Nouveau schools of art. She has done several painting exhibitions, but lately has done much less since she is now devoting a great part of her time to illustration ... Her works includes children's books as well as SF/Horror/Fantasy books & magazines. When she is not painting or drawing she spends time on some of her other passions : wandering around flea-markets & restoring antiques, working with mosaics, and dancing with an ATS group ...
