Jennifer has been writing ever since she could hold a pencil.

Her early works were mostly abstract cards to her parents and hastily scribbled notes to the North Pole. In fourth grade, she created her very own newspaper. Although the articles were fiction and the crosswords easy, it was a defining moment.

Because that's when Jennifer realized she always wanted to write; loved to write; had to write.

Jennifer is an award-winning author, pre-kindergarten teacher, and former marketing guru. She’s written everything from multi-media campaigns to radio ads, brochures to blogs. These days, Jennifer is a regular feature contributor to FACES magazine, having written over 60 non-fiction articles & interviews for Cricket Media. She is also very active in the kidlit community, appearing in several industry panels and is the co-founder of #SunWriteFun, the annual non-fiction picture book writing contest.She's a member of SCBWI, Julie Hedlund's 12 x 12, the Writing Barn, and Children's Book Academy amongst other industry organizations.

Jennifer's debut picture book, LITTLE MEDUSA'S HAIR DO-LEMMA (Clear Fork, 2021) can be found on shelves across the country, both in schools and myriad book stores. More tales are definitely on their way!
