Midge Ballou Smith is a native Californian, and has lived near the beach, in the desert, and by the mountains, and has found story ideas in all three places. She is a retired elementary school teacher with a master’s degree in professional writing. She loves playing games with her grandchildren, where she is affectionately known as The G-force, due to…ahem…a slightly competitive nature. Midge and her husband currently reside in Northern Utah.
