Sherri Ashburner grew up on a steady diet of Walter Brooks and Nancy Drew books. She never quite left her childhood behind, to which her two sons will agree, and that makes writing middle grade books the perfect fit for her. Sherri worked for a dozen years off and on at a glorious independent bookstore, where she spent way too much time in the, you guessed it, middle grade section. Sherri lives on the Connecticut shoreline with one of her sons, two old cats, two wobbly kittens, and a catahoula rescue dog. She also loves to cook, loves to eat, and loves to collect old marbles…not necessarily in that order.
